ADPList
The Beginning
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, Felix witnessed countless talented designers losing their jobs. He created a simple Google spreadsheet called ADPList (Amazing Design People List) where laid-off product designers could be listed and referred to recruiters, while others volunteered to offer mentorship and career advice.
What started as a humble spreadsheet with a list of volunteer mentors quickly grew into something much bigger than anyone imagined.
Global Impact
Today, ADPList has grown into the world's largest mentorship platform:
- 18,000+ mentors from companies like Netflix, Airbnb, and Google
- Over 100 million minutes of mentorship sessions
- Present in 140 countries
- Topics spanning product design, product management, and coding
Mission
ADPList's mission is to democratize mentorship and help every person unlock their human potential. The platform provides free access to mentorship from industry leaders, breaking down barriers that have traditionally limited access to career guidance and professional development.
Funding & Growth
In 2021, ADPList raised $1.3 million from Sequoia Capital India, Goodwater Capital, and notable angel investors including Siu Rui Quek (CEO of Carousell) and Crystal Widjaja (ex-SVP of Data, GoJek).
From a spreadsheet to a global movement, ADPList represents Felix's vision of a world where everyone has access to the guidance they need to succeed.
